We had a great March meeting!

Thank you Justin, owner of Keaton Quilts, for giving us an insight into your quilt journey and becoming the owner of Manhattan only quilt shop. We are all invited to participate in the Social Sewing at Keaton Quilts on Fridays and some Saturdays. See the upcoming events here.

Maureen gave a brief review of Community Quilts projects. We are in need of 70 pillowcases for Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center, and quilts for Room to Grow. The deadline is June meeting for drop off in July. Find out more on the specs for the quilts and pillowcases here (Members Only).

After the meeting, many of our members headed to the opening of the Textile Art Gallery on 529 West 20th Street. See video of the first exhibition here. Congratulations to our members Bruce, Barbara and Lisa (Founding Members of the Textile Art Gallery).
