September Block for Nicole

Nicole, these blocks were fun to make. I love your idea of the cheddar bits. I had fun improvising the first block. 

The second one, I paper pieced, since I went crazy with the improv and nearly ran out of the red fabric. So I went with a pattern to be on the safe side.  I found the pattern on http://www.quilterscache.com/
