The New York City MOD Quilt Guild was created in early 2010 to offer a place for quilters to connect and create. We support all styles of quilting where you are free to explore your own creativity in quilt-making. Our guild promotes the appreciation of quilts, supports quilting activities, encourages quilt-making, and furthers the growth of its quilters’ education. All levels of quilters are encouraged to join us, including beginners.
Meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month, usually run from 2pm-6pm and are held in midtown New York City (see Meetings page for dates). We may also meet informally throughout the summer months, so be sure to check out the website for MOD gatherings around the City.
We participate in round robins and group quilts featuring selected blocks-of-the-month determined at the monthly meetings, and you may even find us swapping fat quarters! Show and Tell is always encouraged at our meetings. Check out our blog for meeting recaps and see what we are up to!
