We support all styles of quilting where you are free to explore your own creativity in quilt-making. Our guild promotes the appreciation of quilts, supports quilting activities, encourages quilt-making, and furthers the growth of its quilters’ education.
Our mission is to develop and promote the art of modern quilting through cooperation, education, and community.
The NYC Metro Modern Quilters Guild was created by Victoria Findlay Wolfe
in early 2010 to offer a place for quilters to connect and create. Originally part of the Modern Quilt Guild, our members voted to leave the MQG in June 2014. We currently have around 80 members and all levels of quilters are encouraged to join us, including beginners.
